Zero green areas, contamination, lack of security, bad infrastructure, poor living conditions, waste on the streets…These may be several of the problems you deal with in your neighbourhood. Have you ever thought of doing something about these issues but you don't know how or where to start? If so, join this workshop.

During the workshop participants will learn how to design location based games. They will be presented with a choice of free mobile applications used for playing location-based games (e.g. Goosechase, Actionbound, Geocaching) and learn how to design their own mobile location based game in Actionbound editor. The workshop includes a module dedicated to storyline design in games based on Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey framework. After the workshop the participants will have a prototype of their own game ready for testing and further development.
